Softek’s engineers seem to know our third-party revenue cycle system better than anybody else I have ever worked with. They understand and know what tables to pull respective information from. They don’t have a problem pulling up the information and educating me as to why they are linking a specific table or why they are pulling data from a certain place. The vendor has a much broader understanding of the product than someone from our third-party vendor's support group. We have good luck with just picking up a phone and calling an engineer from Softek, and Softek's people can quickly just answer our questions. They are just really good to work with.

Softek has a different perspective because they work with so many health systems, and they look across all of those organizations and circle back. The vendor has added various tools inside of their product. As clients bring up respective issues and needs, the vendor pushes things out to all of their clients through an update. There have been other products that the vendor has developed just for us as well. The vendor is really easy to work with, and they have been very engaged with us all along their journey of issues inside of our third-party's revenue cycle. If another client asks for something, the vendor doesn’t have us pay additional money for that. They just push it out to all of their clients because they know that there is a need.

Softek has offered support during the COVID-19 crisis along the way. They even check our data sometimes, and they will send things to us and ask us whether we have seen those things because they look unusual. Without being intrusive, Softek has been a really good steward of our time and the service they deliver.

Softek doesn't promise that they can do something and then not do it. When we give them feedback, within a week’s time, they check in to see whether we can log in and to see whether things are any better. Softek is very proactive. Softek doesn’t let a title get in the way of moving forward. They reach out. They check on us. They ask us whether we are getting what we need, whether the response time is okay, and whether there is anything they can do differently.

We have spent a lot of time with Softek, and they have been able to point out things that weren't right in our build. We would have missed a lot of money if Softek hadn't caught certain issues. They have come up with some productivity reports that have information that we weren't able to see in our EMR. Those reports have helped us with management.
