While contracted to develop a web–based application for Cerner, Softek identified the need for a comprehensive system management solution for Cerner’s Millennium^® EMR that is both accurate and reliable. In 2000, Panther was born and quickly became the standard that other solutions attempted to follow.

As Panther’s functionality continued to grow through the years, it became obvious that it was becoming a foundational technology that could deliver even more value than originally intended. Panther64, with its new more powerful 64–bit application platform, was released in 2010 along with OnTrack, our new brand that builds on the solid foundation of the Panther technology.
