Search
Illuminate InSight Search gives you Google–like free–text search capability for your medical systems. Gain instant access to radiology, pathology and laboratory reports and more. Using Softek’s proprietary search engine and patent–pending dataranking algorithm, you can immediately retrieve the most relevant reports and their corresponding images. Complex searches are executed with ease using the point–and–click Advanced Search functionality designed specifically for medical information. Our unique, patient–centric search capability allows you to access information on a single patient, from a particular demographic or from all the data residing in your system.

- Out of the Way but Easy to Access – Viewing options minimize Illuminate’s size on the monitor while maintaining full access and functionality.
- Automatic Preview of Patient Priors – Illuminate automatically displays the Impression section of any prior, related exams for the patient whose images are currently being viewed. A single click of the mouse brings up prior images or reports. Filters can be set to view specified modalities or patient body parts as well as laboratory and pathology results.

Alerts
Now more than ever, hospitals need innovative solutions to mitigate risk and close the loop in the patient care process. Illuminate InSight Alerts facilitate patient tracking as subsequent exams are completed and recommendations are followed. Alerts sent via email, pager or cell phone track changes and updates in:
- Follow–up Imaging – Be notified when a follow–up scan you have recommended has been performed or if the patient failed to get the follow–up scan.
- Exam Status – Send or receive notification when the report status for an exam has changed.
- Track Patient – Follow a specific patient over a designated period of time by receiving notifications every time an exam is completed for this patient.
- Search Criteria – Be notified when new exams that match a specified search criterion are available in your system
- Follow–up Pathology – Be notified when the pathology reports are completed for any studies you want to review.
Collaboration
All Illuminate users – radiologists, residents, directors, administrators, clinicians – can easily identify, comment on and organize interesting cases and, in turn, quickly review the entire library of cases bookmarked by their peers. Illuminate InSight Messaging allows you to send messages with links or information about reports and images to others in your care community.
- Bookmarks – Electronically organize and save cases using selfassigned Tags. Bookmarked files can be saved for personal use or categorized and annotated for all users.
- Message Center – Send, receive, save, reply to and forward mail to other Illuminate users.
- Confirmations – Be notified when recipients have opened a message you sent them.
